Our Story

Founded on March 8, 2014, Unforgettables (then known as The Sweetest Touch) is known for its custom cakes & desserts that are all uniquely designed, one-of-one creations.

From my sketch to your first bite, everything that goes into our delicious treats is Unforgettable.

Hey there! My name is Cheryl Merriweather and I am the Master Baker for Unforgettables ATL. Unforgettables is the evolution of my passion for baking and my relentless drive, after being laid off from my job in 2013.

Born and raised in Savannah, GA, the kitchen has always been a cornerstone in my life. I come from a large, southern family that loves to eat. From standing on a stool in my grandmother's kitchen sifting flour for homemade biscuits, to watching my mom prepare desserts for holiday dinners, my passion for baking started when I was just a little girl.

I relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2008 and have provided desserts for celebrity events, featured weddings and long-time clients from their baby shower to their child's 5th birthday.

I never wanted my love for baking to turn into a job, but I realized that if it’s your true passion it will never feel like work. On March 8, 2014, I decided to introduce the world to The Sweetest Touch; known now, as Unforgettables.
